Couldn’t care less who remains once Arsenal are out. Just got my cups crossed that’s all. Swansea for Capital cup, Barnsley for FA
I think we will finish 4th…behind Spurs. I think Giroud will be the top scorer for us in the Premier League, I think we will total 71 goals at the end of the season, I think we will have conceded about 46 goals by season’s end, we will not finish in front of Spurs 😦 We will win another seven matches totaling 20 for the season, and the aforementioned players will total 61 goals in all. The Champions League will be won by Real Madrid, and the FA Cup will be won by Man Shit…can’t be bothered to think of anything clever United.

VCC – Yes, it is the same horse. The Cup Final is usually the first week in May? The 2000gns is on May 4th this year.
However, I expect the runners will all have prep in the first or second week of April, possibly at Newmarket or Newbury. Some go to York the week later, but with the Derby more in mind. Remember though, it does need fast ground.
I was only having a chat with one of my oldest friends about our times at Cheltenham last night. This was in the Arkle era, but we went a few times after that. One of our great memories was when What A Myth won the Gold Cup at about 100/7. Most unlikely winner because he had a habit of falling, and they are tricky fences there. But the great thing is he loved the mud, and it was really soggy that March. Great atmosphere. Best of luck if you get to go.
Oh, Dundonnel’s current price after the last forfeit stage is between 14 and 22/1. Still 85 in it, so there will be plenty of withdrawals between now and then, particularly after the trials.
